MIG Welder

Pay: £14.53 per hour

Shift: Monday – Thursday | 06:00 – 16:30

Schedule: 40 Hours | 4-Day Week (Enjoy every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OFF!)

The Role KPI Recruiting is looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing workshop in Horwich (BL6). This is a great opportunity for a precision-focused welder who enjoys working on varied metal projects and prefers a consistent, four-day work schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Precision Welding: Complete metal projects to exact specifications using MIG welding techniques.

• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.

• Material Management: Select appropriate materials and gas ratios for each specific job.

• Fabrication: Perform various cuts and welds to create high-quality finished products.

• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized shop environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven Experience: Solid background in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.

• Blueprint Reading: Ability to follow technical drawings and measurements without supervision.

• Quality Focus: A sharp eye for detail and pride in the strength and finish of your welds.
