About the Role

KPI Recruiting are looking for a Production Operative to join our client based in Sandbach.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work and wants to develop their skills within a growing and innovative company. The role involves assisting with the manufacture of sensory rooms and specialist sensory equipment, contributing to meaningful products that support individuals with sensory needs.

You’ll be working in a friendly and supportive environment where quality, accuracy, and teamwork are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Use a variety of hand tools to assist in the manufacturing process

• Measure and cut materials accurately according to specifications

• Assemble components and ensure products meet quality standards

• Follow instructions and production plans carefully

• Maintain a clean and organised work area

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment preferred

• Good practical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Willingness to learn and develop within a growing business

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

• Hours: 08:00 – 16:00 (Monday to Friday)

• Contract Type: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks

• Weekly Pay: Every Friday into your nominated bank account

• Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per year (two weeks’ notice required to book holiday)

• Facilities: Kitchen (with fridge, microwave, and kettle), staff room, car park, and smoking shelter
