Project CAD Coordinator – Pumping Stations

Woore 

Monday to friday 

£28,000 - £32000

Are you a detail-oriented technical professional with a passion for delivering accurate and efficient design solutions? Our client is seeking a Project CAD Coordinator to join their team, focusing on adoptable pumping stations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


About the Role

  • Transform quoted designs into comprehensive technical drawing packs.
  • Submit designs for approval and manage amendments through to final sign-off.
  • Generate 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings.
  • Provide technical support to site engineers.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including O&M manuals.
  • Respond to client queries, build rapport, and support customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical specifications and produce precise technical drawings.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and work to tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Offer feedback on commercial trends and market requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
  • Mechanical engineering background with knowledge of pumps, pipework, and pressure systems.
  • Ability to understand fluid handling systems and mechanical principles.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, CRM).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, BEng, or equivalent).
  • Good standard of English and Maths.
