A welcoming primary school in Bolton is looking for a motivated Psychology Graduate to join their team straight away, with the position running until the end of the academic year.
Psychology Graduate – Teaching Assistant Position
- Full-time role starting from January 2026
- Earn between £500 - £560 per week as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Stable placement in a supportive Bolton primary school
- Engage with learners across KS1 and KS2
- Perfect springboard for those interested in Educational Psychology and SEN careers
- Minimum 2:1 degree required in Psychology or related discipline
- Background working with young people – whether through tutoring, clubs, or care settings – is beneficial
- Support students facing learning difficulties, social challenges, or additional educational needs
- Partner with teaching staff and the school's SEN coordinator to deliver effective learning programmes
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting children’s academic progress while fostering their confidence, wellbeing, and social development. You may provide one-to-one support for pupils who need extra guidance or lead small group activities that help develop communication, emotional regulation, and resilience.
