Duties:
Purchasing Administrator - Up to £28,000
Location: Leigh, WN7
Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday (7:30-15:30 or 8:00-16:00)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support our plant operations. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining efficient material administration and supporting the smooth running of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the procurement of materials and supplies required for operations.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve order discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management by placing orders as needed.
- Work with the logistics team to optimize supply chain processes.
- Prepare reports and provide insights to improve purchasing strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience in purchasing, materials administration, or logistics.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
