Quality Controller | Bolton
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum | Full-Time (37 hours per week)

About the Role:
KPI Recruiting are delighted to be partnering with a well established business in Bolton seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Controller to join there team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular checks on kits/components prior to issue to ensure accuracy and record anomalies.
• Carry out inspections on internally produced components (e.g., stock items, laser-cut plates, pressed sections).
• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of shop fabrications, including welds.
• Ensure quality control inspections follow specified plans, routings, and other controlling documents.
• Ensure all products and services are free from defects and conform to industry standards, company quality standards, and project requirements.
• Verify that finished goods meet requirements, are undamaged, and packed correctly with appropriate documentation.
• Liaise with client inspection teams for product verification.
• Produce and maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist with root cause investigations.
• Recognize and comply with health and safety responsibilities and company policies.
• Monitor CoSHH cupboard contents at all sites.

About you:

• Certified licenses to use the following: Site approved FLTs (Forklift Trucks), Overhead Cranes.
• Apprentice trained or experienced in a similar environment.
• Ability to select the correct inspection equipment relative to the task.
• Strong numerical, written, and IT skills (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication skills across all levels of internal and external business.
