An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and experienced Sales Advisor to join our clients internal sales team at their head quarters in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. You must have strong sales closing experience in an office enviroment. You will play a key role in driving sales by working with both public and private sector clients, including local authorities, educational institutions, architects, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on quotations with prospective clients to nurture leads and identify opportunities to close sales.
- Apply excellent customer service and communication skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Negotiate to achieve the best possible deal for both the customer and client
- Update project notes and client interactions within the CRM system.
- Provide technical and sales advice to customers
- Generate and deliver weekly reports on order activity and sales forecasts
- Gather and manage company and contact data, ensuring it’s accurately input and maintained in the CRM system.
- Lead generation through business tools, project/lead subscription services, web research, and social media platforms, focusing on various market sectors
- Arrange appointments and coordinate meetings with potential or existing contacts as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales development and customer service, ideally via phone, with a history of working to deadlines.
- Strong sales negotiation, cross-selling, and closing skills.
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise high-quality sales leads.
- Experience working with CRM systems
- Familiarity with web and social media platforms for research and lead generation.
