We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secondary-trained Science Teacher (Physics) to join our thriving and forward-thinking primary school community in Lambeth. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026. ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply.
About the Role
You will:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons with a strong physics focus, inspiring pupils to develop a love of STEM.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and leaders to enrich the science curriculum across the school.
- Support the development of practical, investigative learning and scientific enquiry.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and enrichment opportunities, including clubs, competitions and projects.
What we’re looking for
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a specialism in Physics or Science.
- A passion for inspiring young learners, particularly in an inner-city context.
- High expectations of all pupils and a commitment to inclusion and achievement.
- Strong classroom practice and a reflective, collaborative approach.
- ECTs with enthusiasm and potential, as well as experienced teachers seeking a new challenge.
