Role: Senior Therapeutic Support Worker
Salary: up to £30,753 + £65 per sleep in

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Therapeutic Support Worker, you will be a core part of a talented team that works selflessly together to provide outstanding residential care, therapy and education for children and young people who have experienced or, are at high risk of exploitation.

The environment can be challenging at times - so a positive attitude, compassion, commitment and resilience are essential. You’ll use the training and support provided as well as your knowledge and experience to provide genuine care, emotional first aid and a warm, homely and therapeutic environment to the young people – helping them to build resilience and achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a related care field - ideally hold the Level 3 in Residential Care
  • Have the ability to lead and make decisions, supporting the Home Manager and your team members
  • Manual Drivers Licenses (use of onsite vehicles)
  • Experience of working with children with complex needs within a residential setting (2 years’ experience preferred)
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative & able to use your own initiative
  • Ability to lead and share best practice to the wider team
