Duties:
Electrical Maintenance Engineer
3 Shifts Per week (36 hours)
Burnley - £42,000
Week 1: Sunday-Tuesday, 6:00am-6:00pm
Week 2: Wednesday-Friday, 6:00pm-6:00am
Week 3: Wednesday-Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm
Week 4: Sunday-Tuesday, 6:00pm-6:00am
- Maintain mechanical and electrical machinery, covering all departments and ancillary equipment throughout the site, reacting to faults and breakdowns as priority
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, PPM schedules, routine testing, calibration, record keeping, health and safety, participate in C.P.S functions
- Observe and abide by Health & Safety rules and Hygiene rules (BRC) and embed the health and safety culture throughout the department
- Record and update key engineering data
Skills & Experience
- Electrical qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or BTEC
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial maintenance environment
Time-served Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical bias) with strong fault-finding skills - Strong Electrical/Electronic knowledge and background
- Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge and background
- Highly decisive team player
- Strong time management skills
- Effective motivator and communicator
- Previous proven experience within engineering area
- Strong emotive control and effective crisis management skills
- Strong knowledge of health and safety
- Willingness to learn new skills and be adaptable
