Location: Stoke on Trent (accessible transport links available)

Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5pm

Salary: £20,000 – £21,000 per annum

My client is a well-known international company who pride themselves on offering exceptional quality and unbeatable value of products. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their purchasing department who work very closely in a can-do environment. Within this role, you will be responsible for;

  • Sourcing, setting up and marketing new products and ranges
  • Compiling market research and competitor information
  • Building good relationships with suppliers and overseas colleagues
  • Checking product details on quotation sheets to compile range drafts
  • Testing new products and approving artworks and packaging leading up to the launch of a new product

Required skills to be successful:

  • Great organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to work from own initiative too
  • Professional and clear communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Proven administrative experience with a can-do attitude to learn and progress
