KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Warehouse Returns Operative for our client based in Crawley.

As a Warehouse Returns Operative your working hours and days are:

• 4 on 4 off
• 10:00- 22:00

The rate of pay as a Warehouse Returns Operative is:

• £12.50 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Warehouse Returns Operative are:

• De-briefing all returning vehicles to the depot
• Checking for any damages and safety issues
• Communicating with Drivers regarding the daily runs and dealing with any issues
• Reporting any defects
• Managing VOR’s
• Downloading camera footage taken from the vehicles and tacho graph machines
• Liaise with our vehicle management unit, sub contractors and drivers

The ideal candidate for a Warehouse Returns Operative would need:

• Good understanding of transport legalisation and logistics operation
• Able tob build good relationships with people even when under pressure
• Challenge any vehicle issues or damages with our drivers
• Able to make decisions in the absence of the Depot Manager to drive performance and service
• React quickly to information and be able to solve problems in dependtly
• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel
