Customer Service Advisor

£26,650 per annum | Hybrid Working | Crewe | 12 -Month Contract

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting customers through a variety of interactions, ensuring every enquiry is handled efficiently, professionally, and with empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess and process customer claims, ensuring compliance with company procedures and fraud prevention measures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service across multiple channels, including telephone, email, live chat, post, and social media.
  • Maintain and update customer records accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle sensitive and vulnerable customer situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Support customers with policy closures and account-related enquiries.
  • Promote and encourage the use of digital services to enhance the customer experience.
  • Adhere to data protection regulations and promptly report any breaches or concerns.
  • Achieve individual and team performance targets while maintaining high service standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer queries and improve service delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Customer-focused, compassionate, and solution-oriented.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and general administrative tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
