We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll support the classroom teacher, assist with lessons, and help create a positive and fun learning environment.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting classroom activities to help children with reading, writing, and maths
  • Working with students 1:1 and in small groups to provide tailored support
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivering fun, engaging lessons
  • Encouraging children to develop independence, creativity, and social skills
  • Helping during playtime and ensuring a safe and supportive environment
  • Collaborating with the teacher to meet the individual needs of each student
  • Promoting a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their development
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage children in their learning
  • Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to each child's unique needs
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a positive learning environment
  • A desire to pursue a career in primary education
