A well-regarded SEN school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team. The school caters to students with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role:

- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Work closely with students with autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges
- Assist in both classroom settings and with 1:1 and small group interventions
- Gain valuable experience for future careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or Clinical Psychology
- Collaborate with a team of experienced SEN teachers and support staff
- Based in a Manchester SEN school with excellent facilities and resources
- No prior experience required, but a resilient and empathetic attitude is essential
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will involve providing personalised support to students with a range of SEN needs. You will assist in creating a safe and positive learning environment, helping to develop and implement learning strategies tailored to individual student needs. You will also work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them build confidence, manage their behaviour, and improve their academic performance.
