Duties:
Head of Visual Merchandising
Banbury, Oxfordshire | Hybrid 2 days from home
Up to £50,000 + Benefits
Permanent | Senior Leadership
KPI Retail are partnering exclusively with a growing premium lifestyle and accessories business looking for an experienced Head of Visual Merchandising to lead the VM function across two established consumer brands.
This is a genuinely strategic VM role. You'll be responsible for setting the direction, defining the standards and leading how both brands show up across their physical retail environments.
The role
You'll lead the Visual Merchandising strategy across stores, showrooms, pop-ups and new retail spaces, working closely with senior leaders across Creative, Marketing, Retail, Buying and Commercial.
You'll be responsible for:
-
Setting and leading the overall Visual Merchandising strategy
-
Defining the VM vision and standards across two brands
-
Leading windows, store layouts, customer journeys and product presentation
-
Bringing seasonal campaigns and product launches to life across physical retail
-
Creating VM standards, principles and toolkits for retail teams
-
Leading VM across new stores, refurbishments, relocations and pop-ups
-
Using customer insight and commercial performance to evolve the strategy
-
Leading and developing the Visual Merchandising team
-
Managing external suppliers, agencies and project budgets
-
Acting as the senior VM lead within the business
What we're looking for
You'll have significant experience within Visual Merchandising leadership, ideally across premium retail, fashion, accessories, beauty or lifestyle.
Crucially, we're looking for someone who can set the VM direction rather than simply execute an established process.
You'll combine strong creative judgement with commercial thinking and understand how great VM can strengthen a brand while ultimately driving customer engagement and sales.
Experience across multi-site retail, window concepts, spatial planning, store openings, seasonal campaigns and team leadership will be particularly valuable.
Hybrid working
The role operates on a three days with the business / two days from home hybrid model.
Those three days won't necessarily mean sitting in the Banbury office. As a hands-on VM leadership role, your week could include time at Head Office, in stores or visiting other retail locations and sites as required.
The remaining two days can be worked from home.
What's on offer?
-
Salary up to £50,000
-
Bonus opportunity
-
Hybrid working – two days from home
-
25 days' holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service
-
Generous staff discount
-
Learning and development opportunities
-
The opportunity to lead and shape the VM direction across two established and growing brands
-
Genuine influence across major retail projects, store openings and brand activations
