As the Driving Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful placement of candidates in the driving and logistics sector, whilst acting as a role model to the wider team.

What will this role entail?

  • Lead and motivate the recruitment team, providing guidance and support.
  • Set performance targets and monitor team’s progress.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client base and driving revenue growth.
  • Follow the KPI Recruiting sales cycle
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and complete sales calls
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, consistently meeting and surpassing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the transportation and logistics industry
  • Understand clients' staffing needs and ensure effective communication with the recruitment team.
  • Oversee the sourcing, screening, and interviewing of potential candidates for driving positions.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to candidate placement.
  • Collaborate with clients and candidates to facilitate smooth onboarding processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in legislation affecting the driving and logistics sector.
  • Implement strategies to stay competitive and address industry challenges.
  • Provide regular reports to upper management on team performance and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including driver certification, licensing, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and documentation.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the recruitment team.
  • Stay informed about changes in recruitment best practices and share knowledge with the team.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the recruitment process.
