Job Description - Graduate Psychology SEN Teaching Assistant

The school is a modern, forward thinking charity with a track record and reputation built over 100 years. Providing a range of educational, residential and medical services to support adults and young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism.

Due to a recent expansion we are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to commence a permanent role.

  • Salary £18072 - 19416
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Immediate or September start available
  • Permanent role

This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a genuine interest in the educational sector. While prior experience in supporting SEN students is beneficial, it is not a requirement. You will receive comprehensive support and training, drawing upon the knowledge and skills gained from your psychology degree.

As a Graduate Psychology SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively within the SEN team to ensure inclusive and support for all students. Your role involves building strong relationships with students, providing encouragement, and fostering a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
