Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist seeking a flexible, school-based or online role?
Do you have a strong background supporting autistic, neurodivergent, and SEND learners?
Are you confident working independently and able to make an immediate impact?

KPi Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded multi-academy trust in East London to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join their SEND team, supporting pupils aged 11–25.

This role offers flexibility, with opportunities for in-school, hybrid, or fully online delivery, depending on experience and service need.

Key Requirements

To be considered, you must:

  • Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (child workforce)
  • Have experience working with children and young people (4–25)
  • Have experience supporting SEND and autistic/neurodivergent pupils
  • Be confident in SaLT assessments, intervention planning, and report writing
  • Be able to start ASAP

Please note: This role is not suitable for newly qualified therapists.

About the Role

  • Full-time Speech and Language Therapist position
  • Flexible delivery: on-site, hybrid, or online therapy
  • Support pupils with communication needs, ASD, SEMH, and developmental language delay
  • Carry out assessments and deliver targeted intervention programmes
  • Produce high-quality reports to support EHCPs and reviews
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy, modelling, and guidance to school staff
  • Support the trust during a period of ongoing permanent recruitment

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Confident, proactive, and able to work autonomously
  • Strong knowledge of communication disorders and evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate, professional, and committed to improving outcomes for SEND pupils
  • Comfortable delivering online/remote therapy sessions where required
