An outstanding school in central London are looking to appoint an EAL Teaching/Learning Support Assistant with immediate effect. This EAL Teaching Assistant post is ideal for a graduate looking for long term paid work experience in a school prior to applying for a Secondary PGCE or any school based initial teacher training.

To be considered for this role you must be an intelligent graduate who has previous experience supporting children and achieved well in your degree, having earned at least a second-class degree. You must possess a personable character who is easily approachable and the passion for achieving in education. The school wants graduates who can support their pupils’ issues in a concerned manner and become an inspirational figure to the student body. It is essential for you to possess the commitment to education, there will be possibilities to train as a teacher at this school in the next academic year.

This EAL Teaching Assistant role will start immediately for the entire academic year and will provide the successful applicants with exceptional experience. The school are looking to appoint someone who can speak a range of different languages. The ideal graduate would be someone with a languages related degree who is also an aspiring teacher.
