An ambitious and well-regarded secondary school in Islington is looking to appoint a Graduate School Tutor to join their in-house support team. This is a fully school-based role, working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders to raise attainment and confidence across the school.

As a Graduate School Tutor, you’ll deliver targeted academic support to students in small groups and 1:1, focusing on core subjects such as English and Maths, alongside wider curriculum areas. Much of your work will support students who need structured intervention, including pupils with learning difficulties, gaps in knowledge or low confidence.

You’ll be embedded in daily school life — attending briefings, working from the same timetable, and becoming a trusted adult presence for students. This makes the role perfect for graduates considering teacher training, educational psychology, SEN or pastoral careers.
