Production Supervisor (Cable Assembly)

Pay: From £14.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Hours: Mon–Fri | 08:00 – 16:30

The Opportunity

KPI Recruiting is looking for a structured, process-driven Production Supervisor to join our client’s cable assembly department. This is a pure supervisory role (no bench work) where you will be responsible for the workflow, data, and performance of a team of 10 operatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Workflow Management: Coordinating resources to meet production demand and clearing bottlenecks.

• Team Leadership: Managing the conduct, attendance, and performance of 10 production operatives.

• Compliance & Quality: Ensuring all assemblies meet technical drawings and strict SOPs.

• Systems & Data: Using NetSuite (ERP) and Excel to manage work orders and track efficiency/scrap rates.

• Continuous Improvement: Identifying ways to lean out processes and reduce waste.

The Ideal Candidate

• Essential: Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus) and Microsoft Excel.

• Leadership: A strong presence on the shop floor with the ability to hold a team accountable.

• Detail-Oriented: Able to interpret complex technical drawings and ensure total accuracy.
